Multiplier (X + Number) DV Language can use X followed by a number as a multiplier. This can apply either to a duration or to a full box. When used with a duration, it means that the duration is extended proportionally. For example, QX4 = W, WX4 = 4W, and EX2 = Q. When used with a box, it means that the entire box should be duplicated or repeated that number of times. For example, | ... |X3 means that the same box is repeated three times. This makes DV Language more compact and practical, especially when writing repeated rhythmic or melodic patterns.
Solfège (multilingual writing — same DV logic) DV solfège note names can be written in different alphabets/languages while keeping the same DV structure (boxes, separators, octaves, durations). The mapping stays equivalent; only the written symbols change.

If a move is partner-specific, you can keep it as a name but treat it as choreography direction (Suggestion)
DV Dance — Formations and Spacing for Groups (Suggestion, still in development)
This is an optional direction for DV Dance when working with multiple dancers. The goal is to describe group arrangement on the stage (formation) and how the group moves/rearranges over time, using the same DV timing logic. The idea is: write a Group line for stage organization (formation + spacing + facing, and optional assignment of dancers to positions), and then write either a Group movement line (if everyone does the same) or individual D1| D2| ... lines (if dancers do different moves). This notation is a suggestion only and still needs development and later standardization.
In practice, this lets you write things like: “the group forms a wide line facing front, walks forward together, then rearranges into a circle and claps on beats.” Formation names, spacing tags, and assignment formats are not final yet—they are working tokens meant to keep choreography readable until the DV Dance standard is finalized.
